Website access and hosting
When you visit this website, technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages and the date and time of access may be processed automatically. This information is used to deliver the website, maintain its security and resolve technical issues. Our legitimate interest is to provide a secure and reliable website.
The website is hosted and delivered using Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare’s network. Cloudflare may process technical connection, routing and security data. Its globally distributed services may involve processing outside your country, including in the United States. Cloudflare describes its processing and international data-transfer safeguards in its privacy policy and Customer Data Processing Addendum.
We do not operate a separate visitor-log database for this static website. Technical network and security information may be retained by Cloudflare for operating and securing its services. Cloudflare determines retention according to the purpose of processing, the nature of the data and applicable legal requirements, as described in section 11 of its privacy policy. We do not export visitor request logs into a separate log archive.
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we use the information you provide to respond to your message and handle your request. Our business email is provided through Google Workspace. We retain correspondence only for as long as required for those purposes or by applicable law.
Cookies and analytics
The website does not include advertising trackers, visitor analytics scripts or social-media embeds. Its own code does not set cookies or store information in your browser’s local storage. Technically necessary cookies may be used by the delivery provider where required for security or basic operation.
To keep your place when you reload the page, we temporarily save the page address, scroll position and layout measurements in this tab’s session storage. This information stays in your browser, is not sent to us and is not used for analytics or advertising.
Fonts, images and the product video are delivered directly as part of this website. The video uses your browser’s built-in player; no third-party video platform is embedded.
External links and the Amazon shortcut
This website contains links to Amazon, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. The short address hohohook.com/amazon redirects directly to our product on Amazon.com. Following these links takes you to a third-party service whose own privacy policy applies. We do not receive your Amazon order or payment details through this website.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, as well as data portability, restriction of processing or objection to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
To make a privacy request, contact contact@hohohook.com.
We do not sell personal information.
Our LinkedIn company page
This section concerns our company page at https://www.linkedin.com/company/hohohook/
Who is responsible
HoHoHook UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Felix-Kracht-Straße 18, 60486 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, is responsible for its own handling of personal data in connection with this page. You can contact us at contact@hohohook.com.
For users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, LinkedIn's controller is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. LinkedIn's Privacy Policy and European Regional Privacy Notice explain its platform processing and identify the responsible LinkedIn entity for other regions:

Communication and page management
When you contact or interact with our page, we can receive the information you provide and the profile information LinkedIn makes visible to us, such as your name, professional role and public profile. We use this information to respond to enquiries, manage conversations and present our business. Public comments and reactions may also be visible to other LinkedIn users or visitors.
Our legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interests in communicating with interested people and maintaining our business presence. Where an enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract with you personally, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to processing necessary for that purpose. Mandatory legal retention is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Access to information we handle is limited to authorised people involved in the relevant page-management or enquiry task. LinkedIn also processes information through its platform. We retain enquiry information only while needed to deal with the enquiry, meet applicable legal retention requirements or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. LinkedIn's storage of platform content is governed by its own policies.
Page Insights
LinkedIn provides aggregated statistics about visits, followers and interactions with our page. These help us understand our audience and improve our business communication. LinkedIn uses members' profile and engagement data to generate these statistics; the Insights supplied to us do not give us the underlying individual-level data.
For Page Insights concerning EEA and Swiss members, we and LinkedIn Ireland are joint controllers within the scope of LinkedIn's Page Insights Joint Controller Addendum. LinkedIn handles the principal transparency, security and data-subject-rights obligations described in that agreement. You may contact either LinkedIn or us about your rights; we will coordinate relevant requests with LinkedIn.
Our interest in understanding and improving our page is the basis for our use of these statistics under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. LinkedIn explains the legal bases for its processing in its own privacy notices. The allocation of responsibilities is available here:

LinkedIn's own processing and international transfers
LinkedIn may also process information for its own platform, advertising and other purposes, using cookies and similar technologies. This is distinct from our own page-management activities. LinkedIn may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Its notices explain the applicable transfer arrangements, safeguards, retention and privacy choices:

Your rights and choices
Subject to the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing relies on legitimate interests, you can object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You may contact us at contact@hohohook.com or use LinkedIn's privacy contacts and account settings. You can also complain to a competent data-protection supervisory authority, including the authority in the EU country where you live or work or where you believe an infringement occurred.
You are not required to contact us through LinkedIn; you may use email instead. If you do contact us, we need enough information to understand and respond to your request.
